We are the Granby GRUNTS! Granby Memorial High School's Robotics Team and Competitor in the annual FIRST Robotics Competition.
Team 3146

The Granby GRUNTS seek to enrich STEM and FIRST opportunities throughout Southern New England through extensive outreach, full team participation, and measures to establish themselves as an enduring hub of collaboration, education and advancement.
The Granby GRUNTS Robotics Team was formed in 2009. In 2015, our team won both the CT State and Pioneer Valley Championships, placed 11th at the New England District Championship, and finished in the top 1% of the world at the 2015 International Competition in St. Louis, MO.
This year, we will provide 30 team members with the opportunity to travel to throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire with the goal of returning to the International Competition in Detroit.

Our students have the chance to learn and develop many new skills. Although the robotics program is based on engineering and design, The program Reinforces other important facets of being a part of the workforce such as leadership, business planning, public speaking, coaching, and communications.

Empowered with this experience, students are well positioned to be the next leaders in our community and beyond.
